WHAT YOU RECEIVE

Chemical sampling, method and conclusion-scope review

THE INVESTIGATIVE SCOPE

Examine the method. Test the evidential consequence.

365 ALTERAM scopes independent chemical examination review for serious and complex criminal matters. Review sampling plans, seals, laboratory worksheets, instrumental outputs where supplied, calibration and quality-control information. Commission appropriate chemical expertise for disputed identity, composition, concentration or comparison findings. We define the question, available material and required specialist competence before proposing the work.

01

Does the tested sample support the conclusion about the wider material?

Test representativeness, contamination concerns, method suitability and the wording of the conclusion. Distinguish identification of a substance from proof of its origin, intended use, ownership or the knowledge of an accused person.

02

What would an independent examination add?

Review sampling plans, seals, laboratory worksheets, instrumental outputs where supplied, calibration and quality-control information. Commission appropriate chemical expertise for disputed identity, composition, concentration or comparison findings.

03

Where could this change a high-stakes case?

In major narcotics, contamination and hazardous-material prosecutions, the scope of a laboratory finding can affect the alleged scale of the case. 365 ALTERAM can make the difference by checking whether conclusions extend beyond what was sampled and reliably measured.

04

Which limits must remain explicit?

Laboratory testing is undertaken by appropriately qualified providers with suitable methods and accreditation scope where applicable. No analytical result alone establishes criminal intent.

THE PURPOSE

When decades of liberty are at stake, every decisive forensic inference deserves independent scrutiny.

WHEN LIBERTY IS AT STAKE

Where 365 ALTERAM
can make the difference.

In major narcotics, contamination and hazardous-material prosecutions, the scope of a laboratory finding can affect the alleged scale of the case. 365 ALTERAM can make the difference by checking whether conclusions extend beyond what was sampled and reliably measured.

For allegations carrying very long or life imprisonment, our role is to connect this discipline to the precise disputed act, identify what can be tested and provide counsel with a clear route back to the source. We preserve findings that support, weaken or leave the allegation unresolved.

HOW AN INSTRUCTION BEGINS

The BALANCE-7 approach
01 / DEFINE

The question
comes first.

We clarify the material issue, available records, authority and jurisdictions before proposing the work.

02 / EXAMINE

Evidence meets
independent scrutiny.

The agreed workstreams connect sources, test reasoning and identify what remains unresolved.

03 / REPORT

Findings return
to their sources.

Counsel receives a scoped record of the analysis, supporting exhibits and material limitations.

BEFORE YOU INSTRUCT

Clear questions.
Straight answers.

Does 365 ALTERAM carry out every test in its own laboratory?+

No such claim is made. 365 ALTERAM scopes, coordinates and integrates independent forensic review. Medical examinations, laboratory testing and reserved expert opinions are assigned to appropriately qualified practitioners or laboratories under an agreed instruction. Availability, authority and any relevant accreditation scope are checked for the actual work.

What will counsel be able to do with the findings?+

The agreed report identifies the source for each material finding, separates facts from inference and records the specialist’s methods and limitations. Counsel can use it to formulate expert questions, seek further material or consider a properly supported challenge. Legal use and admissibility are assessed in the relevant jurisdiction.

Can the review confirm an existing conclusion?+

Yes. Independence means reporting supportive, adverse and inconclusive findings consistently. We examine the record rather than promising a defence-favourable answer. Qualified counsel directs legal strategy and the court determines the use and weight of the evidence.

How does an instruction begin?+

Start with a neutral summary, relevant jurisdictions, procedural dates and the disputed forensic question. Do not send sensitive records through an initial enquiry. Scope, fees, lawful access, confidentiality and evidence-transfer arrangements are agreed before substantive work.

No acquittal, sentence reduction, recovery or specific expert finding is guaranteed. Work is subject to lawful authority, specialist availability, competence and the material preserved. Original sources, handling history, analytical assumptions and limitations remain traceable.
