Who can instruct this service?+
Companies affected by suspected extortion, their legal counsel and authorised representatives can enquire. Defence counsel can also request an independent review of allegations. Acceptance depends on conflicts, lawful authority, jurisdiction, specialist competence and an agreed scope; we do not act for opposing parties in the same matter.
Can you investigate ransomware and data-leak threats?+
Yes, where relevant material and appropriate expertise are available. Our forensic work assesses communications, available intrusion evidence, payment records and attribution. Live containment and system recovery require a separately scoped response by appropriately qualified incident-response specialists.
Do you negotiate with suspected perpetrators or arrange payments?+
No. This forensic review service concerns evidence preservation, reconstruction and analysis. It does not include approaching suspected perpetrators, negotiating demands or arranging payments.
Can you work across multiple countries?+
The investigative scope can cover cross-border records and relationships, subject to lawful access, applicable requirements and appropriate local expertise. We do not claim unrestricted access to private bank, telecom or law-enforcement databases. Qualified counsel directs legal processes and the use of the findings.
How should we begin?+
Use a brief, neutral summary, relevant jurisdictions and your professional capacity. The enquiry form prepares an email for you to review and send; it does not upload evidence. Secure evidence-transfer arrangements, handling requirements and confidentiality terms are agreed after intake.
Independent investigation can support, qualify or contradict an allegation. Original material, provenance, chain of custody, integrity checks and analytical limitations are documented within the agreed scope. No attribution, asset recovery, admissibility or case outcome is guaranteed; legal advice and representation remain with qualified counsel.
